Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Susan J. O’Grady has a general practice working with adults, couples, and teenagers. She works with a wide variety of issues and has extensive experience as a psychologist. She is a Certified Gottman Therapist with advanced training in relationship and marriage counseling and sex therapy. She has served on the Board of the Contra Costa Psychological Association for twelve years as President and, most recently, as Ethics Chair for the last five years.
Dr. Susan O’Grady also leads classes in mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) groups. Gottman Method Marriage Therapy addresses many aspects of building a healthy and intimate relationship. My approach with couples is based on over 40 years of research by Dr. John Gottman with thousands of couples.
